Hapur Pilakhua Development Authority was established as a second and an independent authority from GDA by U.P. Administration on 21 Nov 1996. After keeping in view the geographical, historical and commercial industrial importance and in view of the planned development of NCR. Past many decades Delhi steady population and floating population have undergone an unprecedented increase. U.P. Government has added area of Garhmukteshwar - Brijghat in the authority vide order dated Dec 2005.
This way Delhi's population has reached a saturation level in proportion to area of Delhi, as a result of which pollution level has increased. At the same time loan on the essential services has increased manifold and also the average speed of transport has decreased very much. Along with the insufficient support of electricity, there is also lack of drinking water because of its excessive and unplanned usage..
In such circumstances HPDA can offer solutions for accommodating increasing population in Delhi NCR areas. Pilkhuwa has all sort of potential for industrial development. HPDA has offered textile center scheme in this area to support the local businesses.
Similarly Anand Vihar and Preet Vhar schemes are at a very small distance of 50 kms from New Delhi. These schemes are being developed by HPDA In distract Hapur Of the NCR region. These schemes are situated on NH 24. These are just 50 kms.away from New Delhi.The Concerning Schemes are planned in a modern way from expert planner. These is lush green, pollution free environment of the concerning Schemes and have facilities for parks, urban forest, commercials etc.
Garhmukteshwar is a Teerth Nagari. HPDA has made a Master Plan 2021 For It which provides the framework for rationalizing the orderly movement of traffic and trancportation within the city and defines the area for laying down net-work of various services. The plan is used for promoting integrated development of the urban center by rationalizing its pattern of land use and their interrelationship. it provides options for accommodating the future addition to population which is likely to come to the urban center due to natural growth and migration. Master Plan acts as a tool for determining the infrastructure cost which would be required to make the city sustainable.The Plans Offer Futuristic solutions by laying down agenda for its growth and development. Gangadham scheme is also being launched in this area which has hugs potential of growth.
